Greetings Station Managers and Program Directors
Thanks for your dedication to non commercial radio!
Please know, a new monthly series on Audioport - A Primer For Paradigm Shift
The home station is KEPW in Eugene, Oregon.
This is Jan Spencer, the producer of APFPS.
The primer advocates values, ideals, principles and actions for paradigm shift - moving towards a society that takes care of its needs within the boundaries of the natural world, a society that places a high value on personal/social uplift, building civic culture and that society would be served by an honest and responsible economic system.
The Primer advocates taking paradigm shift action at home, the neighborhood, community and beyond. Paradigm shift is not a future utopia,,, its common sense in the here and now.
The Series is in two 28 minute parts that complement each other. The first part is On The Way - A Primer For Paradigm Shift - that describes the values and principles of paradigm shift based on reducing eco footprints and building civic culture. The second part is On The Ground - A Primer For Paradigm Shift describes what those values and principles can look like when applied to the real world. That's eco villages, alternative economics, local food systems, bio regional collaborations, transforming suburbia, empowering young people, pushing back on cars and a lot more.
You can see a 30 minute youtube video show and tell explaining the Primer at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpBD1ZNr-K8&t=396s
You can hear the first two podcasts at the Primer's website
https://www.aprimerforparadigmshift.org/primer-podcasts.html
Those first two programs are on the schedule at KEPW. My hope is, you can add the Primer to your station's schedule as you are able.
The first two 28 minute episodes are now on audioport, search Jan Spencer. Production is monthly. The next two episodes will be posted on audioport March 25th and following episodes on the 25th of the month.
Key words, external costs, common denominator, prioritize time and money, allies and assets, civic culture, wisdom of the world's great spiritual traditions, permaculture, we have a mass Movement for paradigm shift ready to discover itself.
* Why MAGA, Labor and Faith Communities, the AARP, the Sierra Club, Occupy Wall Street should make common cause to advocate for paradigm shift.
* American Society is a cargo cult
* What doesn't make the cut to sustainability
* How to pay for paradigm shift
I am also keen to be a guest on your local programming.
Thanks! Jan Spencer
